One Saturday morning, Emma woke up early. She looked out the window and saw gray clouds. "It’s going to rain," she said. Emma loved rainy days because she could wear her yellow raincoat and jump in puddles.
After breakfast, Emma grabbed her rain boots and umbrella. "Let’s go for a walk," she told her little brother, Jack. Jack frowned. "But it’s wet outside!" Emma smiled and said, "That’s the fun part!"
As they walked through the park, the rain began to fall softly. Pitter-patter, pitter-patter. The sound of the rain made Jack laugh. They found a big puddle near a tree. "Watch this!" said Emma. She jumped into the puddle, and water splashed everywhere. Jack laughed harder and jumped in too.
While they played, Emma saw something shiny under the tree. "What’s that?" she asked. She walked closer and found a small, silver key. "Where does this key go?" Jack wondered. They looked around and saw a little box hidden in the grass.
Emma used the key to open the box. Inside, they found a note. It said, "You found the magic key! Always look for adventures, even on rainy days." Emma and Jack smiled.
They went home, wet and happy. "Rainy days are the best," said Emma.
